v2.39.0 (2026-09-30)
Overview
Vite Horizon 2.39.0 lets FPP users reuse a colleague's sketch. In the FPP Editor you can now show one other user's sketch on the map — chosen by user, then by sketch name — and copy its shapes into your plan with the Advanced Editor, instead of drawing them again. The other user's sketch is only read, never changed.
It also makes the Advanced Editor, in every editor, ignore layers that are turned off: such a layer — or one whose group is turned off — can no longer be selected from. And GIS administrators with FPP access get a Delete mode that deletes a whole FPP draft plan.

New Features and Improvements
Copy shapes from another user's sketch (FPP Editor)
Sketches are personal: the Sketch layers on your map show only your own. The FPP Editor now has an Other User's Sketch block, above the Advanced Editor in Edit mode once a plan name is set, for when a colleague has already sketched a shape you need — a boundary, a road line:
- Choose the colleague in User, then one of their sketches in Sketch Name — or All sketches.
- The sketch appears on the map as the Other User's Sketch layer, and the map zooms to it. The line under the block's heading says whose sketch it is and what it contains, for example bob@STTAS · Coupe 12 — 3 polygons · 1 line.
- In the Advanced Editor, choose Other User's Sketch as the Target layer, select the shapes you need — one geometry type at a time — and click Save. Lines or polygons become one new feature of your plan; points are saved one feature each. Save takes only the Target layer's shapes: as the Reference layer, the sketch's shapes are only used by operations such as Cut Shape or Reshape.
- The new features have the Not Coded style and no label: select them in the FPP Editor, choose their proper style and save.
- Visible turns the sketch off so you can see the data under it, and back on. Clear takes it off the map.
- It is removed when you close the FPP Editor, switch mode or clear the layer name, and it is never saved in a bookmark or printed.
- It is available to FPP users and FPP administrators.
About your own sketches
FPP users and FPP administrators can now view your sketches this way — one sketch, or all of them at once — to copy their shapes. They cannot change or delete them — only you can.
See Copying Shapes From Another User's Sketch.
The Advanced Editor no longer selects from hidden layers
If the layer you chose as the Advanced Editor's Target or Reference layer is turned off afterwards — in the Layer List, by turning off its group, or with the Visible switch above — clicking the map now selects nothing from it, and a Layer Hidden message asks you to turn it back on. Previously it could still select features you could not see. This applies in every editor that has the Advanced Editor.
See Selecting Target Features.
A Delete mode for whole draft plans (GIS administrators)
The FPP Editor's FPP Mode list now offers GIS administrators a Delete mode — provided they also have FPP access, since only FPP users and FPP administrators can open the FPP Editor. Choose the draft plan in FPP Draft Names — Zoom to Plan shows where it is if you want to look first — then Delete Plan removes every point, line and polygon of that plan, whoever drew them, after a confirmation, and reports how many features were deleted. FPP Production is never changed, so it also cleans up the FPP Draft copy that an unfinished authorization can leave behind.
- Other users never see the Delete mode.
- It cannot be undone.
See Deleting a Whole Draft Plan.
Zoom to a name in every editor
Each Unified Editor now has a Zoom to … button below its name field (Zoom to Sketch, Zoom to Burn, Zoom to Plan and so on). It zooms the map to every feature of the name chosen in the editor's names dropdown — its points, lines and polygons together (the NOI Editor has no points and the Cart Route Editor no polygons) — even when the editor's layers are not on the map or are filtered to another name. In the Sketch Editor it only ever looks at your own sketches.
See Zoom to a Name.
Search the names lists
The names dropdown in every editor now filters as you type: type any part of a name to find it among hundreds — the FPP Production list alone has over a thousand plans. Picking a name works as before, but Select is no longer in the list — it only shows in the box while no name is chosen. You can switch to another name but not back to none: to show every name on the map again, turn Filter by Name off. The Print panel's FPP Draft Name / FPP Number, EMPS and Cart Route Name dropdowns filter the same way.
See Finding a Name.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed: an FPP print could show another plan's harvest area. If the plan you picked has no harvest boundary, the Print panel showed an error but kept the area of the plan picked before it, and printed that. It now says the plan has no harvest boundary, and prints a harvest area of 0 for it.
- Fixed: switching the Print panel between a Draft and a Production FPP layout kept the plan chosen on the other layout and printed it. The choice is now cleared, since each layout lists different plans.
- The Print panel's FPP Draft Name / FPP Number, EMPS and Cart Route Name boxes can be cleared with the x in the box, to print without a plan, an EMP or a route.
Under the Hood
- A new service call lists the users who have sketches. It returns their user names only — no shapes and no other details.
- User names are now sent safely when sketch names are looked up, so a name containing characters such as +, & or an apostrophe finds the right sketches.
- A new service call deletes an FPP draft plan by name. The service refuses the request unless the user named in it is a GIS administrator, reads the plan before deleting anything, and only ever deletes from FPP Draft.
