Overview
Horizon's analysis tools provide forestry reporting, spatial analysis, and integration with external analytical platforms. These tools are accessible through the Report action button in the right panel.
For data management and utility tools, see the Tools Overview.
Forestry Reports
- Production Summary: Logging production statistics by region, forest, and logging unit with date-range filtering and export
- Yield Summary: Forest yield analysis with area selection, attribute filtering, individual or grouped summary modes, and CSV export
- Wildlife Habitat Clumps: Wildlife habitat retention requirements with MATHAB and EUCHAB analysis modes for conservation planning
- Canopy Analyze: Forest canopy height analysis with custom polygon or preset shape areas, real-time validation, and comprehensive height statistics
Spatial Analysis
- Area Summary: Generate area calculations using geometry intersection analysis
- Road Analysis: Road network analysis with distance calculations and route evaluation
- State Growth Routing: Route planning and turn-by-turn directions using the State Growth Tasmania road network, with support for up to 10 stops and route export
- Canopy Height Model Filter: WMS-based canopy height model layer filtering and visualisation
- Slope Classification: Terrain slope analysis with customisable degree ranges, pixel-level distribution, and steep country classification
- Plot Random: Random sample plot generation within polygon boundaries for field surveys
- Viewshed Points: Generate observation points for visibility analysis with manual placement or automatic grid-based generation
- Find Nearest Neighbour: Property proximity search by Provcoupe, Operation, Asset, or Custom Polygon with configurable buffer distance
External Tools
- Horizon Analyst: Companion application for advanced data analysis with bi-directional communication and specialised spatial data examination
